Haha. thanks everyone for their wishes. i had a great birthday and i felt blessed having all the frens like u guys. like alyssa said, im officially twenty. no longer a teen which i tot i still was because i haven hit 21. twenTY not twenTEEN was her reply. i found it really funny. hahah.

it was a really wondeful birthday. went out for a meal and some shopping. the highlight was the concert. went to sinfonia 09. NYP symphony ochestra concert. its at esplanade! so cool. first time attending a concert there. normally at VCH only. the atmosphere was really gd. and of course their performance. marvellous. i love the percussion performance. i also wan to play drums! hahaha. and the 2 vocalist who sang "When you believe" so well.

this few days had really been a whirlwind. i bought my ps3! it cost me a bomb but so far haven regretted abit. its something which im very proud of. affording the whole ps3 system myself. lcd monitor,speakers etc. wow. so proud of it. got chance post the photos here! hahaa.

New year = New resolution.

Jan 1, 2009.
1yr 1 month and 7days to my ord date. =) looking forward to start counting one down from 365days =)

Its a brand new year! throw all the unhappines of the past year behind. and keep the fond memories and continue looking forward to the future. new year means new resolutions. have lots of plans this coming years and it involves money money and more money. sigh. i wan to have all the money in the world! muahahahha. alrights jus kidding there. but indeed wif new plans i need more money. and my bank account is still fluctuating at the same amount for the past few months =( CNY is arriving in 3weeks time and hopefully can have abit of extra $$$! =DD

a new mp3
a new pc/laptop
ps3/xbox 360

and the list goes on and on...

hahaha actually all are wants and im trying very hard to resist all the temptations to burst my account. but i really wan to get either one of the last 4 wishes. handphone not an urgent need because of my existing contract till 9june09 and my committments in NS which meant i cant get a gd camera phone so might as well wait till closer to ord. (woah thats a long time away).
Mp3 not very impt as well cuz my current one which cost a mere 50$ still working really really fine. but im so attracted by the sleek look of apple pdts tat i wan to get my hands on a ipod nano chrome or ipod touch. sigh.
New pc/laptop - not a need yet. but soon a need once i ord (woah a long time away again) the choice will depends whether im staying in the hall (need $$ again).
ps3/xbox 360 - i wan to get a console game for a long time. really long time since i only owned a sega b4 and a psp (not even a console) now. however this 2 items cost a bomb and either one will burst my slim account =( but i so tempted to get them especially today! the games itself will cost a bomb. sigh. and further reading up more info, i realised that i shud hold back on buying a ps3. the great graphics will greatly depends on the tv! my tv still the 10yrs ago $4xxx CRT tv. cannot support the Blu-ray power also. a HDTV cost like $3-7k. dun have a gd lcd monitor either. buy le play on crt tv oso useless. so i tink im scrapping the idea again. oh sigh. unless i strike 4d! 1st price with $1 bet enough le. $2k not bad le. haha not like i will ever strike since i dun even bet. lol. false hopes again. but srsly will try more means to save up money and milk more money from anywhere, legal means only tat is. upcoming ippt in months, must start training hard to maintain my gold so as to milk another $200 from the govt =D

proper resolutions-
1) make a decision on whether to go Fass (Econs) in NUS or Mech Engineering in NTU
2) a smoother remaining times serving the nation
3) continue having the company of my loved ones
4) great health ahead - on this note, heard from vette that wei jia has got a severe illness. really sad to receive this news. pray for him and bless him with rapid recovery. dun give up and keep fighting.

Year 2009!

Happy New Year guys! Its 2009! and its another yr closer to my ord yr =) here i am alone in my house ( my family members all overseas ) . feeling bored hence deciding to update the so dead blog. haha. finally met up wif my jc frens today. feels great to catch up wif dem again. a mini 413 gathering. dinner was so-so at manhattan fish due to the stupid new year day special menu. a pity that a few people is missing from tonight meeting. been ages since i last seen lesi,qiling and zhou. hope to find another day soon to meet up! all must be present! haha. proceeded to meet my girl for countdown before heading home to check on Euro. Thankfully, he is alright and running around now. hahah. feel that its only right to ask them to continue their jong-ing at maine's house since its so late alr. abit disappointed couldnt join them and i took out and prepared everything alr. hahah but nvm la. got chance de. yup.

so fast one fruitful year had passed again. still rmb last yr counting down at ql's house. looking out of the window of her room. wonderful scenery and wondering how the future will be. indeed, this one year has been rough for me. ups and downs. out of jc and in to army. but i could say i have learnt alot in year 2008 and dare say im a better person now. i have moved on in life and currently very happy with my life. i wish for a peaceful 2009 and hope 2009 will be a smooth and happy year for me and my loved ones. blessed everyone wif a wonderful and properous new year ahead. =)

Human Beings

I am upset with the recent incidents happening in my life that i realise how superficial and selfish human beings are. People are always complaining how lousy their life are but they often mislook the fact that there are people out there who are suffering much more than them. Instead of sparing a thought for them, human beings are so selfish to think about their own well-being only. They fight for their own benefits and refused to share the spoils with their fellow friends. Enough said.

I ought to apologise to those affected with the recent flaming in my blog. To the 2 flamers, if you guys have the guts, jus come straight at me and not anyone else. I dun expect the whole world to like me anyway so i dun care how u guys wan to insult me. so come, curse me.

Its been a long long time....

It has been a long time since i have got the urge to blog. To let people know about how i am actually doing recently. Brief update of my life, as some of you may have known, i passed out from my Air Defense Weapon Operator (ADWO) Course recently and i am now officially an ADWO! I play an important role in defending the nation! Okay, basically my job involves a 24/7 duty which means you guys are actually being protected 24hours a day, 7 days a week. However, that also meant that our weekends and public holidays will be burnt =(( but its wonderful to be able to play such an important role for the nation isnt it? hehe =) Im posted to a new flight and im currently still undergoing course to equip myself with the skills to play my role as an ADWO. I was disappointed not to obtain any of the 3 plaques given out for the ADWO course. I am sure of my own ability and i know i wasnt far from winning either of the 3 awards. I scored maximum points for my ippt but still missed out on the best PT award because of my slower 2.4km timing. Nevertheless, Daryl who is a great runner deserved it more than me. I am already happy for obtaining gold in ippt! For the best knowledge award, im pretty sure my test results are up there with the best knowledge. Perhaps jus missed by a whisker? Bing quan deserved the award as well. He contributed alot to our safety posters and T-shirt and its more than natural to present the award to him for scoring as well in his tests! As for the best trainee, well i was one of the four trainees nominated for the award!! hahaha im a all rounder! ok im jus kidding there. but yea its a great feeling to be nominated already. no need win oso nvm la. ( haha sound like sour grapes hor? sound like those hong xin da jiang ppl lol). Shaun definitely deserved the best trainee award. He is an all-rounder and contributed alot ever since the first day! Kudos to him! Being outshined by so many wonderful individuals, i shouldnt be sad for not winning any of the 3 right? hahahahahahah! having forged a great friendship with the groups of guys whom i will be spending the rest of my 1 1/2 yrs with, i have known a great bunch of people!

Another part of my life which many of my closer friends may have already noticed, i have got a wonderful girlfriend. I wont talk much about the process. but its just sweet. She always reassures me of my ability (not that i need it though! wahahhaha) and always being there made me feel loved. Her presence had made me a stronger and better person. =)

Its been a long time since i meet up with my jc classmates. i really do miss them alot. those bunch of great people whom i spent two years of my life with! I really do we can meet up soon and maybe resume our weekly or bi-weekly tennis session. My purchase of a tennis racket has been put on hold bcuz u guys are so busy to even afford time for tennis! And the 9 cans of tennis balls i bought is still brand new collecting dust! i am thinking of holding a BBQ or chalet during the december period where u guys will be free. will it be a feasible idea? good luck in uni!! and may dumbdumb stop losing money in jong! lol!

Wonderful week!

Im out! its Friday finally! This week seems like a super long week but it had been a really fruitful week! Its the last full week as a trainee in 163 and there is some sort of mixed feelings after today. Next tuesday will be the official day where we pass out from this 3mths course. Time really flies. 3mths passed by alr since POP. it has really been great learning lots of new things in 163. im sure gonna miss my life as a protected trainee. Btw i had finally obtained gold for my ippt! hahaha happy cuz i did it! it has always been my aim ever since i failed in bmt =( quite an achievement for someone like me who was a zero fighter in bmt! hahahhahahahahhaha. ever since coming to 163, my physical fitness has increased by a hell lot! yay its 200$ for me! also, we won the inter-flight volleyball competition! WE are the champions~~~~~ hahahah hooray. been a long time since i last played volleyball. tgt with the help of my fellow trainees, we managed to clinch the gold! ahhahaha indeed it has been a golden week for me =)

book out yet again

im out of camp again. tats is like 4th times in 1 week. omg. booking in and out is no fun. especially when the camp is at the opposite side of the island!! even though my course is coming to an end and the highlight (summex) is coming up, the schedule is still filled wif activities! games day tmr at cp camp and we are allowed to book out so as to make our own way there again. boring la! so tired. recently so lazy to blog cuz im so tired. hahahha. maybe when i have the mood one day i will! especially when i pass out! ippt coming up. i nid to cut 15secs to hit 9.44 so as to get my gold and $200!!!! currently maximum pts 25 but im still not gold yet =( roars. got no time to train my stamina nowadays. helP!!!! =)
